PAMED House of Delegates (HOD) Code of Conduct

Intent

PAMED strives to ensure that there is professional and ethical behavior associated with all PAMED HOD activities and platforms in a harassment-free environment.

Code of Conduct when using the PAMED HOD Website

By accessing and using the PAMED HOD website you agree to the following Code of Conduct. If you do not agree to this Code of Conduct, you must immediately terminate use of the HOD website.

To help PAMED maintain dialogue that is relevant and respectful of the rights of others, you understand that when you submit comments, posts or images on PAMED’s digital platforms, you will not:

  • Spread false and/or defamatory information.
  • Include content that is discriminatory, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy or right to publicity, or otherwise violative of any law.
  • Infringe on copyrights, trademarks or trade secrets.
  • Post content that includes private and/or personal information, such as home phone or personal cell numbers, e-mail addresses or health information.
  • Promote commercial services, products or causes.
  • Post in manner that would constitute spamming or trolling.

Spamming - posting with such frequency or repetitiveness that others may be discouraged from posting, posts that are irrelevant to the topic and/or PAMED's mission and "follow me" posts.

Trolling - comments that intend to send the discussion in a fruitless direction.

Rights/Responsibilities, Monitoring, Violations, Removal/Termination

PAMED is not obligated to monitor user-generated content but reserves the right to do so.

Content posted that violates any of the above policy may be blocked or removed at PAMED’s sole discretion.

Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in suspension or termination of your access to the website or your ability to post content.

PAMED is not responsible for the opinions or claims of user-posts to our digital channels and we do not typically confirm the accuracy of postings. User-generated content, such as comments or posts, represent the views of those providing the content, and do not necessarily represent the views or policy of PAMED.

Do not disseminate to any non-member of PAMED the text of, any comment concerning, or any testimony concerning, any resolution. Such dissemination tends to negatively impact the integrity of PAMED’s parliamentary process and the quality of the work of the HOD.

A submitted resolution is the product of its author(s). Submission of a resolution in no way indicates PAMED support of its content or objective(s). PAMED does not vet, edit or exercise editorial control over any submitted resolution prior to its consideration by the HOD.
