Your Speakers request Resolutions be submitted by Thursday, June 6, 2024 by 4:00 p.m. EST.

If you have any questions about the process for submitting a proposed amendment, or wish to propose a change to the Bylaws, please contact HOD@pamedsoc.org and ask for assistance to assure that the intent of your change is properly recorded for full consideration by the 2024 House of Delegates. Your Speakers request amendments be submitted by Thursday, June 6, 2024 by 4:00 p.m. EST.

Whether in-person or remote, get comfortable with Meeting Pulse our hybrid meeting platform.

• For new delegates, learn the HOD meeting platform and how to interact with HOD business.
• For returning delegates, brush up on your Meeting Pulse skills. (Emails will be sent directly to members, and can be accessed below.)

Training opens July 19 and must be completed (module, quiz, scheduling microphone test) by all Delegates and Alternates by August 29.

Emergency Change Form

The House kicks off with this virtual session. All delegation members are expected to attend, and business will include approving the rules, preliminary CME, and remarks from PAMED and AMA Leadership. Candidates also wishing to run from the floor will declare their candidacy at this session. After this session, the floor closes for nominations.

Delegates will locate your login information in your email. All other participants check back to watch the livestream. 

Be Heard! All PAMED members are encouraged to join oral testimony to provide their expertise on the business of the House. Your testimony will contribute to the Reference Committee Reports.

Candidates running from the floor must submit their candidate information to be listed on the ballot. Anyone wishing to submit a late endorsement letter for candidates must submit them in PDF format to HOD@pamedsoc.org by today at 4:00 p.m.

Reference Committee Reports will be posted to the HOD website on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. Plan your caucus meetings immediately following the distribution of these reports.

Northeast Counties Medical Society President, Dr. Jason R. Woloski, invites Delegation members from rural counties to join for caucusing and collaboration on Saturday, October 26 at 7:15 a.m. Some of you may recall prior to COVID the three-day HOD allowed for caucus meetings, where delegates/alternate delegates with shared interests could discuss resolutions of importance, such as those pertaining to a rural focus. The Northeast Counties Medical Society (previously the Luzerne & Lackawanna Medical Society prior to merger) is happy to reinstate a rural caucus meeting beginning at 7:15AM on Saturday during the HOD. Room information is pending. After grabbing an early breakfast that morning, we hope members of the "Rural Caucus" will consider attending. If you have any resolutions or discussion items you feel pertinent to the rural caucus, please be ready to discuss. This meeting will also allow for networking and open the path to future resolution collaboration. This is not intended to replace any reference committees, but instead allow for a collective voice for the rural caucus delegates prior to entering the HOD voting. Please RSVP to Tonyehn Verkitus at tonyehn@nepams.org.

For those staying at Hershey on Saturday, join the Speakers for a light breakfast on Sunday.

Elected Candidates will need to plan to attend the December Board of Trustees meeting on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. More information will be provided closer to the time.
