The Pennsylvania Medical Society (PAMED) is excited to once again participate in Doctors’ Day and is seeking nominations from the public to recognize Pennsylvania physicians for their tireless care for patients in the Commonwealth.

PAMED CEO & Executive Vice President, Martin Raniowski said, “We’ve seen a lot of studies lately on how the patient-physician relationship is vital to patients. They play a crucial role in their patients’ daily lives, more often than they realize. Our celebration of Doctors’ Day is a moment for patients to recognize those physicians who have significantly impacted their lives.”

This will be PAMED’s third year opening the nominations up to the public. Doctors’ Day is recognized on March 30, 2025, but this year, PAMED will be celebrating nominated physicians March 24 – 31, 2025 during National Physicians Week.

“We usually get a great response from patients wanting to say, ‘thank you’ to their physicians,” Raniowski said. “We look forward to seeing those nominations come through!”
