SUGGESTED RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES

RECOMMENDATION:

The Board of Trustees recommends that Resolution 25-407 be not adopted at the 2026 House of Delegates because existing Pennsylvania regulations already require communication between surgeons and primary care providers regarding the appropriateness of ambulatory surgical procedures for pediatric patients, and existing PAMED policies address patient safety and ambulatory surgical facility oversight.
