New PAMED Advocacy Priorities

From the results of a 2024 Legislative Survey, which was sent to all members and non-members in Pennsylvania at the end of last year, the PAMED legislative priorities have been set for the next two years.

The priorities include:

• Medicare and Medicaid Reimbursement
• Scope of Practice
• Noncompete Clauses
• Mental Health Services Access
• Reproductive Rights

While these are the primary focus areas, PAMED will monitor all legislation impacting physicians and patients. Where opportunities arise, PAMED will make adjustments in the legislative priority list. PAMED is committed to supporting and protecting all of our policies and to representing our members’ interests.
